As soon as the EPA announced their plans to implement the Renovation, Repair & Painting Lead Law (RRP), effective as of April 22, 2010, MasterCraft was one of the first to become an EPA lead certified contractor for commercial and home remodeling repair services in the Greater Boston MA area. Lead contamination from sanding, cutting and demolition is a safety hazard waiting to happen during repairs and renovations to properties built before 1978. The RPR Lead Law requires that anyone paid for repairs or improvements to residential or child occupied properties built before 1978 must be certified by the EPA in safe lead removal and adhere to specific procedures for preventing toxic lead exposure.
